MARK YOUR CALENDAR

Our first Green Mixer: Where the green-minded, green-curious and green-friendly people meet and mix. August 6, 6:30-9:30 @ Coffee Groundz at 2503 Bagby in Midtown. (co-sponsored by NotTrash.Houston) See you there!

GREEN TIP of the MONTH:

What you buy has more power to affect change than your VOTE. Purchase Power > Political Power. Buy smart and consume consciously.

QUOTE of the MONTH:

"We humans are a dangerously invasive species. We have a lot to learn and a lot to do if we are to save nature, including ourselves. And we are a visual species. Well-made films can help teach us what we need to know. EFF* is a crucial resource, a way to get the right signals to the right brains before it’s too late." - Neil Patterson, filmmaker Darwin's Natural Heir – *Environmental Film Festival
