Trees for Houston, a non-profit organization dedicated to planting and protecting trees, will be hosting a volunteer training course focused on Trees For Houston's Trees For Schools education program, a classroom based presentation for 3rd grade students made available to all schools for free, and their Community Outreach program. Lorax Leaders Volunteer Training Workshop

Do you like to teach? Have a love for trees? Want to help spread the word about Trees For Houston's community activities? Join us this summer for our "Lorax Leaders" Volunteer Training Workshop. It is a volunteer training course focused on Trees For Houston's Trees For Schools education program, a classroom based presentation for 3rd grade students made available to all schools for free, and our Community Outreach program. If you like to interact with children or want to reach our tot he Houston community, this training is for you!

Time: You may choose to attend education classes and/or community outreach. We hope you have the opportunity to particpate in both courses.

Education Class I: Monday, July 26, 6-8pm.
Community Outreach Class: Tuesday, July 27, 6-8pm.
Education Class II: Wednesday, July 28, 6-8pm.
All in one Education & Outreach workshop: Saturday, July 31, 9am-1pm.
